About us
A family home on a terrace above the river — opened to guests, still kept like a home.
Deodar & Stone is our family home, built the old Himachali way — stone below, deodar above — on a terrace over the river.
We opened two rooms to guests in 2019 and now have five. We cook what we eat: rajmah and rice, fresh rotis, paratha breakfasts, and trout when someone has been lucky at the river.
We will help you plan walks into the national park, a day at Jalori, or nothing at all.

A home, not a hotel
Five rooms and one family. Eat with us if you like, or keep to yourself — both are fine.

Food from our kitchen
Vegetarian Himachali meals, cooked fresh. Tell us what you don't eat when you book.

Quiet, mostly
The river is the loudest thing here. Quiet hours start at 10 pm.

Patchy signal
Wi-Fi in the house; mobile data comes and goes. Good for switching off.
